child/child dining, seen at: www.designspotter.com
Martje Steenkamp introduces a playful variation on his design of the "Mother/Child Dining". "Child/Child Chair" is a combination of two child chairs and a small table. He got the idea when his son got a little sister.
It was time to let them sit, play and have a nice child-to-child conversation on there own level. The Child-Child chair is easily demountable and comes
in a flat box.
mother/child dining
The conception of the Mother/Child Dining table of Martje Steenkamp is based on this intime moment of a mother and her child eating together. It's form and proportions are the outcome of the dimensions of the two and how they relate to each other.
Little rub chair
The Little rub chair is based on the growth of the 3 year old toddler up to a child 10 years old. You can turn the small chair into a real chair by simply turning the legs.
Children's Highchair
Children's Highchair is based on the growth of the child. The older the child gets, the lower the chair. Sawing the legs of the Children's Highchair is as definitive as the fact the child will never get smaller again. The chair comes with a little saw and instructions printed on sandpaper. Children's Highchair is part of the collection of Droog Design and was introduced at the Salone de Mobile in Milan 2003. Currently in production by Droog Design.
