The 2 designers from Finland and Norway, Sari Syväluoma and Johan Ørbeck Aase, formed the workshop "Designer's go playground" and developed a hybrid of playfurniture and doll-house.
The playful and functional furniture uses modern patterned fabrics, textures and upholsteries in vibrant colours.
The simplicity and functionality of the playhouse resembles an architectural model in a small scale. Very abstract and conceptual, the modules can be assembled in different ways and still the access to the rooms of the small building always works.
The system, that can be extended with a bench and upholstered cushions, is also very suitable for public playing areas, schools or kindergardens.

About the designers:
Their aim is to be committed to quality, innovation and design excellence, and to merge the urban interior with the natural landscape and bring an elegant, unassuming beauty into the child's room.
Sari has exhibited in national and international arenas since 1990 and received the national 3-year Scholarship for Artists in 2007.
Both Sari and Johan were selected to represent Norway at "100% Norway" as part of London Design
festival in September 2006.
