Gula
At the Tokyo Design Tide November 2006, Fujishiro Shigeki presented his children stool Gula, which he created for the design shop Chigo. Gula is inspired by a soup ladle, where one can sit inside and feel snug and secure.
Materials: wood, urethane filling, covered in fabric or suede.
Measures: W 520 x D 520 x H 650 x SH 130 mm
Fujishiro Shigeki was born in 1974 in Tokyo.
He worked for IDEE from 1998 as a furniture designer for IDEE's line.
Fujishiro left IDEE in 2005 to open his own studio, Shigeki Fujishiro Design.
