In 1955 when Arne Jacobsen, world-renowned Danish designer and architect, designed the chair with the model number 3107 he had no way of predicting the commercial success and architectural recognition the chair would obtain all over the world. Today, 50 years after the introduction the 3107 has been sold in more than 5 million copies. At the same time it is one of the most frequently copied chairs.

For the youngest generation Fritz Hansen launched in 2005 a children’s chair, which is bound to find its way into many nurseries. The chair is available in rose, orange, lime, black, white and natural beech; it’s exactly 3/4 the size of the original 3107 – but just as robust.
